Welcome to St.Paul’s-on-the-web. Make yourself at home, poke around the site – you’ll find out a lot about us, where we’ve been, and where we hope to go. We’d also like to invite you to our physical home in Willimantic, an older mill town in northeastern Connecticut (rather unfairly labeled “heroin town” by the Hartford Courant back in 2002 but also home to Third Thursdays and Victorian days). We hang out at a little stone church at the corner of Valley and Walnut – a building now owned by the Covenant Soup Kitchen. As Bob Dylan put it, “the times they are a-changin”…
For the moment we’re organizing our blogs into three categories: “St. Paul’s in transformation” covers the ongoing story of the changes at St. Paul’s in Willimantic. St. Paul’s is just a little church but that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t think about what’s happening in the world as a whole and that’s what “The world in transformation” is about. The third category, “Spirituality/theology/morality/etc is a catchall for posts in those areas, and for anything related to faith, religion, worship, belief, the church, etc.
